I'll be working on a new body of work inspired by the Masai Mara in Kenya. I was invited by a professional group of artists, photographers and writers to visit this beautiful place as a field study for future art projects. The landscape is horizontal with striking vertical lines. There are marshes and other wetlands for the animals and shade so lions can sleep all day. Thickets for the elusive leopards. The colors are brilliant and the patterns of plants and animals are outstanding. I am very excited about beginning a new art adventure.
