Title of this work is Liminal Passage
Happy Holiday Season to everyone! Just wanted to let you know that I'll be having an exhibition of about 20 paintings, many of them never shown before, The show title is: "Somewhere in Time", and will be at South Shore Arts, in the Center for Visual and Performing Arts in Munster, IN, January 12 - February 25, 2024. I'll be giving an artist lecture and gallery tour of my art on February 12, 2024, 10:00 am and reception Saturday, January 20 from 2-5pm, so I hope you can come, all invited !
I'm in the middle of a new body of work where I am layering time and the physical world. It's very exciting for me as I've been visiting ancient sites that include both. Seeing layers of time and how they relate to our planet in forms of canyons, rocks, mountains, etc. has been within me for many years and I'm ready to put the ideas on paper in a new way.
